Why we built it
Complaining is a legitimate human need that we've been taught to suppress or soften until it disappears. We built this not to tone-police your frustration, but to translate it — to turn 'I can't believe you did that' into something with a fighting chance of being taken seriously.
How to use it
Type your complaint in the first box — the real version, unfiltered.
Select who you're complaining to (company, friend, landlord, colleague).
Receive a translated version that says the same thing more effectively.
Copy it. Use it. See what happens.
Questions
What does The Complainer's Translator do?
It takes your raw complaint — however blunt or frustrated — and rewrites it into something that carries the same meaning but is more likely to be heard by the person or organisation you're complaining to.
Does it tone-police me?
It doesn't remove your complaint — it translates it. The frustration stays; the framing changes.
Is it like ChatGPT?
It uses AI for the translation, but it's specifically tuned for complaint rewriting rather than general assistance.
